FIRST – the Foundation for Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology
The FIRST Robotics Competition is a worldwide competition in which over 3000 teams battle it out with robots that they design and build. Each year, the teams are faced with a new challenge and are given only 6 weeks to build their robot.
Team 818 was founded in 2002 as a FIRST Robotics Competition Team and represents the Warren Consolidated School District with students from all WCS high schools, including MMSTC and CPC, and mentors from WCS, GM, Chrysler, and other companies around the area. The team competes with hundreds of FIRST robotics teams from all over the state and ranked 61st of 178 Michigan teams this year!

We are back in business! The mentors met and decided that the next meeting will be Thursday November 3rd, from 3pm-5pm, at CPC (Career Crep Center). Busses will be provided from your home high school (SHHS, Mott, Cousino, MMSTC) to CPC (but you will need a ride home). All returned members please spread the word and start finding people who are interested in joining the team! See you all Thursday!
